I am so ready for summer and that is starting to reflect in my polish choices. This pinky coral beauty is “About Layin’ Out” from China Glaze. This color is so bright and fun it’s basically happiness in a bottle!
This polish is super juicy! It has a high gloss finish (although I always recommend topcoat) and the color is very eyecatching. “About Layin’ Out” is from the China Glaze “House of Colour” collection released for Spring 2016.
The formula on this polish is thin and a bit runny. It’s important to work in thin coats with this one as it’s quite easy to flood the cuticle and sidewalls. That said, the polish does layer on smoothly and evenly. My photos show three thin coats, although you might be able to get away with only two coats if your nail line is less bright than mine.
I think the color payoff on this one is definitely worth any trickiness with the formula. As long as you are sure to not have too much polish on the brush I don’t think you will experience any issues with this polish. It is definitely a favorite in my collection.
I think this polish would be the perfect choice for the beach or tropical island vacations! It’s also one of my top picks for summer pedicure colors. If you have this one in your collection let me know your favorite place to wear it!
