Since it’s Friday I felt like doing a fun “party nails” manicure. We are still sheltering in place, but that doesn’t mean my nails can’t have a good time!
Last month I was sorting through my polish collection pulling out some untried polishes since my polish goal for 2020 is to have ZERO untried polishes in my collection at the end of the year. In this process, I discovered that this was my oldest untried polish, so I really wanted to get this onto my nails. And by oldest untried I do mean old! This China Glaze polish is called “Marry A Millionaire” and it is from the “Eye Candy 3D Glitters” collection, released in 2011.
This polish might be old, but that doesn’t make it any less stunning. This shade is a straight-up glitter bomb that my camera doesn’t do justice to. I can’t blame my camera too much though since my eyes have a hard time adjusting and focusing on this polish too!
As far as I can tell this polish is comprised of silvery lilac hex glitters in assorted sizes, with multi-chrome green/gold bar glitters suspended in a clear base. Due to its age, my polish separated a bit in the bottle, but it’s nothing a good shake doesn’t take care of!
This polish has such a huge sparkle factor! It definitely makes a big statement on the nails! I love the color mix and I think this is perfect for any future Mardi Gras or Carnaval celebrations.
Sadly, China Glaze has discontinued the polishes in this collection so you probably aren’t going to find this one in stores. I did a little digging around though and at the time I am writing this it is still available at Polish Pick. I found multiple listings on EBay for this one as well, although I would always recommend Polish Pick over random EBay sellers!
What do you think of this polish? Do you have it in your collection? If so, what’s your favorite way to wear it?
