S’more Fun from China Glaze is a muted chartreuse creme finish polish. Originally released as part of “The Great Outdoors” collection for Fall 2015, I think of this polish as a 3 season shade as it works equally well for the spring, summer, and fall seasons.
S’more Fun is one of those ugly/pretty shades that people seem to either love or hate. Personally, I’m a fan. I think this gives off an edgy cool-girl vibe that is just a lot of fun.
I find the formula on this one to be a bit finicky, but I think the end result is worth it. This one did not want to self-level for me so I’d recommend application in 3 thin coats, being careful not to overwork the polish. Depending on how you apply you may be able to get away with 2 coats, although I definitely needed 3 to eliminate the streakiness. Still, I love this color and while the formula can be a bit tricky to work with, I have definitely polished with much worse formulas.
I love using this polish in nail art, and pairing it with other colors – especially a bright Tiffany blue! Sounds weird I know, but trust me, it works!
This shade is definitely unique in my collection thanks to it’s muted quality. I don’t frequently gravitate to this shade of green, but something about this one keeps me reaching for it time and time again. If you have this in your collection let me know what you think of this polish!
