“Lola” from Colores De Carol is a white-based pastel pink crelly polish. The formula on this polish is fantastic. I am wearing it here in three thin coats, due to the extreme ridges on my nails. I think most people would be able to get away with wearing this polish in two coats, and I will definitely be using a ridge filling base coat the next time I use this color as I think that will make a big difference and get this down to a two coater for me.
“Lola” is part of the “Magic Hat” collection that was released for Easter 2020. My dog and #1 super cutie is named Lola and I pretty much will buy any polish I come across that has that name. I absolutely love this one from Colores De Carol though! This polish has a lot of white in it and when I was wearing it I felt really tan, although in real life I am not tan. At all.
I love how soft and feminine this polish is. While a classic baby pink can be worn at any time, I think this polish is especially good to wear during spring and summer. While this polish is described by the maker as a crelly, I think this one is right on the line between creme and crelly, and the finish does come off as a creme once built to full opacity.
